The Anarchist-Communist Sunday School

The Anarchist-Communist Sunday School

From Spring 2015 until sometime in 2033 we will be walking from Liverpool to Manchester along the canal. We will walk approximately 3 miles a year and document this 18 year journey through film, audio recordings and photographs in order to capture the aging and development of the participants which currently consist of 6 children (aged 1 - 15), two foetuses (due to be born Autumn 2015) and 6 adults (3 couples aged early 30s to early 40s). The project is borne out of an interest in growth, potential, learning, politicisation, and social change. Collectively we hope to develop greater understanding of ourselves, one another, our children and our environment, and how we are able to affect each of these over time. This activity will take place on two Sundays a year and will form the basis of the entire curriculum of the Anarchist-Communist Sunday School.

Examining, among other things, art as a 'soft power' tool used to export western ideals globally through the facilitation of cultural exchange.
